(6-3-17) South Adams Junior Addie Wanner placed 5th in the High Jump at the IHSAA State Track and Field Championships in Bloomington. Wanner and is the second Starfire to be on the podium this week, in the boy’s meet Bailey McIntire (Sr) placed 4th in the 3,200 meter run.

Wanner also competed in two other state events, but did not reach the podium in either of them. In the long jump her best jump of the day in qualifying was 16′ 4.5″, her time in the 100 meter hurdle preliminaries was the 12th best of the day at 14.98 and broke the South Adams school record.
