(8-30-17) Van Wert (Ohio) High School 2006 graduate Allie Clifton is making her mark in the world of Sports TV. She is the sideline reporter for all 82 of the Cleveland Cavalier games since the 2012 season on Fox Sports Ohio, she reports on the pre-game, during and post game shows. If you asked LeBron James who Allie Clifton is, he would ‘say yes I do’. That’s enough to impress anyone.
Clifton was a star basketball player for the Cougars during her career at Van Wert, her Senior season was one to remember:
One of the all-time best to ever play girls basketball in the Western Buckeye League.

She is doing the same on TV, from her first media job at BCSN to Fox Sports Ohio, Clifton is making a mark at a national level. Including winning an Emmy at the 45th Annual Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy Awards in Cleveland. Clifton, was part of the winning entry in the category entitled, Sporting event/game/live/unedited.
