(1-22-18) – There is a new #1 this week in the SSN National Public HS Girls Basketball Rankings.
Last week’s #1 Mercer County picked up its second lost of the season to highly regarded Hamilton Heights Christian 51-37, but bounced with two wins at the Raatz Fence O’Shea’s Basketball Classic, beating Incarnate Word (Mo) 63-60 and Miami Country Day 67-55. Despite the loss, the Titans remain in the Top 10 at #5. It was also a big week for Coach Chris Souder who picked up his 500th career win.
