(2-12-18) It’s the third undefeated regular season in four years for the Edwardsville Tigers and four times with head coach Lori Blade, the Tigers have gone 103-1 over the last four regular seasons. That is why they remain as the SSN’s #1 team for four consecutive weeks. Edwardsville starts tournament play Wednesday night.
Eastview, Riverdale, Eagle and North Allegheny remain at #2, 3, 4 and 5. Eagle, in a close call, survives and continues undefeated by beating Borah 51-45 for the District 5 title, while Eastview had a close call with a 48-42 win over Park (19-5) 48-42.

Central Valley moves up to #6 thanks to last week’s #6 Newark dropping out after a 60-38 loss to Pickerington Central (22-3).

Replacing Newark in the top 10 is Strafford, who is 24-0 on the season, it’s their first time to appear in the SSN Top 10.
