(2-26-18) For the second week in a row Eastview is the #1 team in the SSN National Public HS Girls Basketball Rankings. The Lightning finished the regular season at 26-0 and start tournament play this week.
#2, #3 and #4 remain the same with Riverdale, North Allegheny and Central Valley holding those spots.
Strafford
Moving up two spots this week are Bartlesville at #5, East Kentwood to #6 and and Strafford moves up to #7.

Also moving up two spots this week is Olathe East to #8 at 20-0 and picks up its 2nd consecutive Sunflower League title.
New London
New London makes its first appearance in the SSN Top at #9 as they continue to move thru the Connecticut tournament trail. The Whalers replace Hoover who were upset last week by Sparkman (27-5) 55-54 in the AHSAA tournament.
Dropping five spots this week is former #1 Edwardsville who had two close call wins during IHSA tournament play. The Tigers have struggled during tournament play and had to come from behind late to beat Belleville East (18-10) 41-40 and Rock Island (23-10) 48-44 in the Sectional final. Is doesn’t getting any easier as Tigers move on to the Super-Sectionals a win will get them to State Final Four.
