Coldwater (5-0) dodged an upset bullet scoring late in the 4th quarter last night to hang on to beat Ft. Recovery 35-31. With the win it keeps the Cavs in the #1 spot in D VI Region 24 ahead of #2 LCC.

Marion Local (5-0) is solid at #4 as they avoid an early scare from Anna last night. St. Henry (4-1) bounces back, from a loss to Anna last week, with a win last night over New Bremen 36-0 and is at #9, just one spot out of a playoff spot. Ft. Recovery (2-3), who missed a chance to move up in the rankings, is currently #13

Region 24 - Week 5

Region 28 – D VII

Minster, after an early scare from Parkway, comes back to beat the Panthers 62-35 and is #2 this week in D VII Region 28. New Bremen (3-2), who was shut-out by St. Henry 36-0, remains in the Top 8 at #5.

Auglaize County’s Waynesfield-Goshen (3-2) is #7.

Celina (4-1), who just missed the playoffs last season, finds itself in playoff position at #6 after its road win over O-G 42-24, WBL rival, Wapakoneta (4-1) checks in just above the Bulldogs at #3.

St. Marys holds on to the #1 spot in Region 14, just ahead of Clear Fork, both are 5-0 on the season. Kenton, who lost to the Roughriders last night 70-29, drops just one spot to #3. Sneaking into contention is the WBL Van Wert (3-2) Cougars who are #9, just one spot out of the Top 8.
