Highlights –

Parkway’s Dylan Hughes’ basket with 2.8 seconds remaining gave the Panthers a 44-42 win over Marion Local

Marion Local’s Alex Eyink  scored 22 points in loss to Parkway

Parkway has beaten both Coldwater and Marion Local this season, could be the only time since MAC started back in the 1970’s to beat them in the same season

Celina (1-10) boys won their 1st game of the season in a WBL win over Elida 45-41

Celina’s Ethan Wilson scored 30 points and was 8 of 9 behind the 3-point line against Coldwater

Marion Local Sophomore guard Sammy Hoelscher had 21 points in the Flyers 50-25 win over Celina

A look Back…

Parkway has never won a Midwest Athletic Conference Championship, but during the 2000-01 season they came very close. Finishing just one game back of Marion Local  with a 6-2 conference record.

Why the MCL?

To add a little extra excitement to the high school basketball season SSN again will bring you the Mercer County League.

The first year SSN introduced the (mythical) MCL was in 2018-19.

All six Mercer County high schools are included, actual head to head match-ups between the schools that will determine a MCL champion in both boys and girls basketball.
