(3-12-23) Tri-Village’s Rylee Sagestar ended her four year career yesterday helping the Patriots to a perfect 30-0 season and an Ohio High School State Athletic Association (OHSAA) D IV girls basketball state title in a 52-50 win over Toledo Christian.

In the process Sagestar entered some national ‘rarefied air‘ when she made three 3PT FGs, she is already Ohio’s all-time career leader, but with a career total of 401, made after yesterday, she enters the all-time NFHS line-up. Sagester is now 1 of 14 to have made 400 or more career 3 PT FGs. When you look at that accomplishment it is a true sign of one of Ohio’s top players to come out of the state.

Sagester also scored her 2,000th career point, ending her career with 2,001 points.

Celebrating a perfect 30-0 season and a D IV OHSAA Championship.

Sagester will now continue her basketball in D I at Marshall University.
