(6-1-23) As the school year ends the Northwest Conference (NWC) is still in the process of finding new members to replace Ada and Leipsic. During a conference meeting yesterday member schools discussed the situation.
In a reply to a SSN email, Lincolnview Principal Brad Mendehall tells us the following —
Unfortunately at this point I don’t have anything else to report. The NWC is seeking new membership and we are still in the process of working with administrators- some of which need to work through their board of education; which can take some time. We are hopeful getting this resolved this month.

Three schools have shown interest, Lima Central Catholic, Liberty-Benton and for football only Ft. Loramie. Other schools had been invited to consider a move to the NWC but none of them have been identified, but rumors of who is involved swirl around social media.
