(6-4-23) Today in Jeffersonville the Indiana and Kentucky Junior All-Stars matched up in girls and boys basketball. The result saw both states pick up a win.
The Indiana Junior Girls All Stars opened up with a win over the Kentucky Junior All Stars at Jeffersonville 79-69.
For the Kentucky All Stars it was their 2nd loss in two days after losing to the Senior Kentucky All Stars yesterday at Louisville Eastern.
Pikeville’s Trinity Rowe led Kentucky with 19 points.
Ft. Wayne Snider’s Jordyn Poole led Indiana with a double-double 19 points and 10 rebounds.

In the boys game…the Kentucky Junior All Stars bounced back after losing to Kentucky Senior All Stars 144-100. Today trailing Indiana at halftime 57-48 they would do it in comeback fashion to beat the Indiana Junior All Stars 106-92, outscoring the Hoosiers 58-35 in the 2nd half.
Kentucky was impressive and was led by Travis Perry who scored 24 points, Ayden Evans added 23 points…Darrell Bateman had a double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds.
KJ Windham led Indiana with 25 points.

The Indiana-Kentucky All Star Series will continue when the Indiana All-Stars will face the Indiana Junior All-Stars in an exhibition doubleheader on June 7th. The two All-Star teams (boys and girls) will have home-and-home doubleheaders with games in Indiana and Kentucky — June 9th at the Owensboro SportsCenter in Owensboro, Ky., and June 10th at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
