(7-10-23) The State of Ohio recent budget that was just passed included a surprise for Ohio schools. For the past several years the Ohio schools and the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) determined that fans could only buy tickets online. That will now change thanks to the approved budget that has 6,198 pdf pages. Surprises and changes are nothing new in bills passed at the state level…this is one of those times.

Since the pandemic many schools and the OHSAA started to sell tickets online. With the new plan in place the OHSAA and schools can still tickets online, but will also have to take cash. If they decline taking a cash payment the fan will be given free entrance to the event.

Also you will now have access to buying concessions with cash.

OHSAA Tournament Tickets

Purchase tickets for selected OHSAA tournament games at www.ohsaa.org/tickets

All OHSAA tournament contests will use digital ticketing (HomeTown Ticketing) for entry. There will be NO cash accepted at the gate. Tickets can be purchased while outside the venue, but they must be purchased digitally on a smart device.

Tickets can be purchased online from the time they are available for purchase until the event is sold out. There will be a discounted presale ticket available for the sectional though regional levels. Presale tickets will go on sale three to five days prior to an event taking place (when opponents are known; it may be a smaller window if opponents are not yet identified). The presale price will be available up to three hours prior to the start of the event. Tickets will remain on sale until capacity has been reached or until the event has reached its halfway point.
