Last week the IHSA released football schedules for every school competing this year. 11 independent schools make-up a part of that list, 6 of those schools were Catholic schools.
Quincy Notre Dame‘s schedule of 9-regular season games…five of those games are scheduled against Missouri schools, it shows that the committee will have a lot to discuss.
For all 11 independents the schedules are a mixed bag of opponents, including out-of-state schools and the playing some of the other independents.
Another item that highlights the situation, in the Chicagoland area, are the IHSA private school athletic conferences in place
- 8 schools – Chicagoland Christian Conference
