Division I

  • Kings (26-1) vs. Cleveland St. Joseph Academy (23-4), Friday, noon
  • Olentangy Orange (25-3) vs. Toledo St. Ursula Academy (19-8), Friday, 2 p.m.

Division I State Championship: Sat., Nov. 11 at 3 p.m.

Division II

  • Alliance Marlington (24-3) vs. Cincinnati Mercy McAuley (23-4), Thursday, 4 p.m.
  • Columbus Bishop Hartley (22-6) vs. Gilmour Academy (17-10), Thursday, 6 p.m.

Division II State Championship: Sat., Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.

Division III

  • Byesville Meadowbrook (23-5) vs. Cincinnati Archbishop McNicholas (20-7), Thursday, noon
  • Mentor Lake Catholic (27-0) vs. St. Henry (24-3), Thursday, 2 p.m.

Division IV

  • Sarahsville Shenandoah (27-0) vs. New Bremen (23-4), Friday, 4 p.m.
  • Tiffin Calvert (26-1) vs. Canton Central Catholic (23-5), Friday, 6 p.m.

Division IV State Championship: Sat., Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.

A look at the match-ups….

St. Henry will play defending D III State Champion Lake Catholic who is undefeated at 27-0, more impressive is the fact they have only lost 3 sets all season…St. Joseph Academy (D I State Finalist), Gilmour Academy (D II State Finalist) and and Columbiana Crestview, who they beat in the D III Regional Final. In the 2022 state games they beat Versailles in the semi-final game and Coldwater in the State Final.

St. Henry lost just three matches on the season, twice to Coldwater…one in an early tournament and one in the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) game, but would finally beat the Cavaliers in tournament. They did beat New Bremen (D IV finalist) in their MAC game. The other loss came to Indiana powerhouse, Bellmont, at the Convoy Crestview tournament. Bellmont just ended their season as the Indiana Class 3A State tournament runner-up on Saturday.

Defending D IV State Champion New Bremen will play undefeated Shenandoah (27-0) in the 2023 D IV title game.

Shenandoah blanked Shekinah Christian (23-4) in the Regional title game to advance to State. They lost just 3 sets all season long and lost one set in the Regional semifinal match to Hiland (23-3).

1st time in school history to make it to the State Final Four.,

New Bremen (23-4) is the defending D IV State Champion, their four losses this season were to Crestview, St. Henry (D IV State finalist) Ft. Loramie and Shawnee. The Cardinals came back to beat Ft. Loramie in the Regional final match.
