(11-27-23) Why, Why, Why! Did the OHSAA extend the state football championships to remain in Canton???
The press release released today made it sound like a ‘love fest’ between the OHSAA, Pro Football Hall of Fame and the City of Canton. But executive director Doug Ute did not think it was important enough to share the terms of this ‘wonderful’ agreement.
If it is such a great deal….share it with all of us…including the state legislature. Why are the details being kept quiet. Was there a bidding process to allow others to have a chance of hosting…like near the middle of the state?
How and who did the work on the agreement, why is that information not shared with the membership?
OHSAA continues to make decisions that help the association…and not the member schools. The secrets they keep is a sad way to run a non-profit association that represents tax payer public schools..
