Northwest Ohio Classic Results, Celina’s Jackson Newcomb Places In Two Finals

(12-18-23) This past weekend Celina’ Jackson Newcomb competed at the Bowling Green State University in the Northwest Ohio Classic. The sophomore finished with a 4th place finish in the 50 freestyle and 5th in 100 butterfly.

Championship Final

In the 50 butterfly Consolation Final St. Marys’ Bradey Triplett finished 16th overall and Coldwater’s Carson Doenges was 19th.

In the bonus final Celina’s Aaron Doseck finished 28th overall.

Avon won the girls meet with 323 points, locally St. Marys finished 6th with 111.5 points, Wapakoneta was was 13th with 65 points, Coldwater with 23 points, Minster was 28th with 11 points, Ft,. Recovery was 29th with 21 points, St. Henry was 35th with 10 points and New Bremen was 42nd with 2 points.
