(1-23-24) Shawnee’s Grace Freiberger led the Indians (7-7) to a 61-57 win over rival Lima Senior (10-9).

Freiberger scored 37 points to become the Shawnee all-time career scoring leader breaking the previous record of 1,467 points. During the win she also filled up the scorebook by adding nine rebounds and nine steals.

Freiberger is a three-time first-team All-Western Buckeye League player.

Shawnee improved to 7-7, while Lima Senior dropped to 10-9.

Freiberger will play volleyball in the fall at the University of Toledo.

Freiberger led Shawnee to win its first-ever Western Buckeye League title with a 9-0 league record, was named the WBL Player of the Year, named tothe first team in District 8 and was picked as the defensive player of the year in District 8.
