(4-5-24) On Thursday the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) approved the 35-second shot clock for Nebraska High School basketball starting next season.
The NSAA Board of Directors voted 6-2 to expand the 35-second shot clock to all six classes.
Two classes have already had the shot clock implemented…Class A first began using the shot clock on a trial basis during the 2022-23 season. It was then made permanent and expanded to Class B this past season. The other four classes will be required to add shot clocks for the 2024-25 school year.
