(4-5-24) After a successful coaching career veteran Findlay Boys Basketball Coach Jim Rucki is retiring.
During his 25 year career at Findlay he was 375-184 and before that he had a 160-71 overall record during his 10 years at Rocky River…overall 545-255.
He is ending his career on a winning note…this season Rucki guided Findlay to a 7-1 record in league play and an outright Northern Lake League-Buckeye Division championship. The Trojans won a school-record 20 games during a 20-2 regular season and went 21-3 overall. The Trojans finished the season ranked #5 in the D I poll.
Rucki was named the Buckeye Division Coach of the Year and the D I Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association award as well.
