(6-7-24) Tonight at Lexington (Ky) Catholic HS it was a basketball double-header as the Indiana All-Stars took on the Kentucky All-Stars.

In the girls game the Indiana All-Stars picked up a 90-79 win over the Kentucky All-Stars.

Jennings County’s Juliann Woodward led the Hoosier stars with 23 points and 6 rebounds, Ft. Wayne Snider’s Jordyn Poole had 19 points and 6 assists…while Bedford North Lawrence’s and Miss Basketball Chloe Spreen added 12 points and Noblesville’s Reagan Wilson added 11 points.

HIGHLIGHTS: Indiana All-Stars 90, Kentucky All-Stars 79

Kentucky was led by Russell’s Shaelyn Steele with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, Central’s Destiny Jones had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Sacred Heart’s Reagan Bender added 12 points.

Indiana leads in the series all-time 54-41.

In the boys basketball game….Kentucky found a way to stop Indiana’s Mr. Basketball and Kokomo’s Flory Bidunga….get him fouled out of the game. Bidunga played in only 15 minutes of the 40 minutes in the game.

The Kansas grad had 3 fouls in the first half and would pick up his 5th foul on a technical with 10:26 still left in the game, after he dunked his final shot of the game. Bidunga was held to 13 points and just 4 rebounds.

Kentucky would take advantage of Bidunga being on the bench and out of the game and went on to knock off the Hoosiers 103-82.

Oldham County’s Max Green put on a show scoring 36 points, with 5 3pt FGs and 5 rebounds. Quel’Ron House had 16 points, Mr. Basketball and Lyon County’s Travis Perry had 12 points and his teammate at Lyon County Brady Shoulders added 11 points.

The Indiana All Stars were led by Brownstown Central’s Jack Benter with 16 points and 6 rebounds, Fishers’ Keenan Garner had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ben Davis’ K.J. Windham added 12 points.

Indiana still leads in the all-time series 103-46.
