(6-24-24) Center Grove and Carmel, since being kicked out of the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (MIC), are still looking for a conference home.
This year both schools have similar football schedules…but neither will play for a league title. How long will it be before they both find a home for their athletic teams? Good question but no insight at the time.
One interesting point…the two schools are not scheduled to play each other in football this season. The last time the two matched-up was in 2022…with Center Grove winning 31-27.

Common opponents between the two schools this year…Westfield, Trinity (Ky), and two MIC members—Ben Davis and Lawrence Central.
Center Grove will play 3 of 9 games against out-of-state schools (Ky, Ohio and Maryland), while Carmel will play two (Ky and Ohio).
In total Center Grove plays 3 MIC members, while Carmel plays four…the only MIC school not on either schedule is Pike.
