(6-28-24) The Minster softball program will have a new coach in the upcoming school year…this past week Minster Schools posted on T’X’itter that they were taking applications for a new softball coach.

Hemmelgarn ends his tenure on a high note as the Wildcats coach this past this season led them to the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) title and D IV State semifinal game.

Hemmelgarn steps away from coaching after recently being selected as the new MAC Commissioner. In seven seasons under Hemmelgarn Minster went 159-42, including 5 MAC titles and this year’s State Tournament Berth.
