(8-14-24) The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) has decided it is time for the shot clock to come high school basketball in Ohio. Late December (27, 28 & 29) the OHSBCA will hold a Shot Clock Shootout in Canton.
No word on what input the Ohio High School Athletic Association has on this event, no official word if in a ‘behind closed door’ meeting the shot clock has been approved. That’s how seven divisions came about for state basketball tournaments this coming season.
Adam Hall OHSBCA Public Relations Director in an email reply to the event-
More information to be released in the coming weeks.
