2024 Week 5 US Consecutive HS Football Winning Streaks, One Streak Ends

(9-21-24) Marion Local wins #53 to continue its #1 streak in the US beating conference foe New Bremen 48-7. Next Friday they will play Versailles, also a conference foe, who is 5-0 on the season. A win by the Flyers would tie them for 3rd place with the Tigers (1993-1996) on the Ohio All-Time consecutive win streaks list at 54. Should be an interesting game.

Tioga (NY) had their 43 game winning streak stopped this weekend losing to Chenango Forks 25-0.

Three new teams entered our watch list this week, Mt. Airy (NC) with 35 consecutive wins…plus two Oklahoma schools, Fairview and Washington both with 33 consecutive game wins.

Austin (Tx) Eastside Memorial (Early College) picked up their first win this weekend after losing 52 consecutive games. The win gives the Panthers a 1-game winning streak.

In Ohio..Minerva’s 16-7 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday gave the Lions their first victory since October 30th, 2020. The Lions ended a 33-game losing streak. With the win the Lions have a 1-game winning streak.
