(10-17-24) Two Northwest Indiana High School coaches are gone after legal issues were disclosed.

LaPorte Girls Volleyball Coach TR Harlan was arrested in Porter County on fraud charges on Tuesday. Harlan faces two felony charges for fraud of $50,000 – $100,000 dollars, and theft where value of property is between $750- $50,000 dollars.
Harlan was booked into the Porter County Jail and is currently out on bond.
His hearing is scheduled for Oct. 30.
Natalie Santana will take over as interim coach for the remainder of the season.
Triton football coach Zach Whittaker resigned after school officials said ‘a possible relationship during a previous school year with a now former student‘. Rodney Younis will replace Whittaker for the rest of the year. Triton is 6-2 on the season and scheduled to play North Miami on Friday.
