(11-21-24) St. Henry Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Fran Guilbault is a legend as a coach on the hardwood, during his time as the Redskins coach he had the likes of Bobby Hoying and Jim Lachey on his team. Those two would go on to star at Ohio State in football and both had successful careers in the NFL.
This week Coach Guilbault’s great-grandson Tayveon Wilson (6-foot-3, 205-pound) committed to Clemson to play football. The four sport star at Huntington (W.Va.) High, just a Junior, was highly sought after, including Penn State, Miami. West Virginia, Louisville, Virginia Tech, and Marshall. A wide receiver in high school Clemson has him tagged as a future tight end.
Wilson is the #2 player in West Virginia for the class of 2026.
