(2-1-25) Spencerville boys basketball over the years has had success when there was a Sensabaugh as a part of the mix.
Current Bearcats Head Coach Kevin Sensabaugh won his 300th game as a head coach when they beat Ottoville on December 14th 68-33. During his tenure so far he has led the Bearcats to seven total NWC championships in 2005, 2006, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2023, and 2024.
While in high school he could do it all…entering this season he still held two Spencerville records…most points in a season (1994-95) 492 and most 3pt FGs made in season (1993-94) with 59.

Kevin’s two sons, Owen (5’11 Jr SG-PG) and Will (5’11 Soph PG) have been a big part of the Bearcats success this year. Last weekend on Friday night they lost their first game of the season to Columbus Grove 51-47…but came right back on Saturday night to beat MAC power and D 7 #1 Delphos St. John’s 65-61.
Again last night… Will hit a buzzer beater to give the Bearcats a big Northwest Conference win over Bluffton 48-45. Spencerville is now 16-1 on the season
