(2-9-25) As the season winds down it seems that Fishers continues to be the best in Hossierland boys basketball…so this weekend they traveled to Illinois and beat Peoria Manuel 85-55. The Tigers again this week picked up all 22 1st place votes ro remain #1.
The top 5 includes Greenfield-Central (17-2) , Avon (16-2) , Anderson (16-1) And Indianapolis Cathedral (14-4).
#11 Brownstown Central at 16-0 is the only other undefeated teams remaining in the Top 20.
Below are results of the IBCA basketball poll for Feb. 2, 2025. The IBCA poll is a “non-class” poll, where teams are voted to a Top 20 regardless of school classification.
There are 22 panelists who vote for the poll — one voter each from the 16 regionals and six at-large voters (two each from IHSAA Districts 1, 2 and 3).
