The other nine members mentioned are in the Lake Division and Bay Division. Only two of those twelve members in those divisions are not mentioned in the proposed new conference…Margeretta and Willard who are currently in the Bay Division.

It is recommended that Sandusky Board of Education approve the withdrawal of Sandusky City Schools Athletics from the current Sandusky Bay Conference configuration and, in collaboration with Lake and Bay Schools (comprised of Bellevue, Clyde, Edison, Huron, Norwalk, Port Clinton, Perkins, Sandusky, Tiffin and Vermilion) join a newly created athletics league (title TBD) effective in the 2026-2027 school year, as submitted by Interim Athletic Director, Mr. Steve Camella and recommended by Mr. Dennis Muratori, Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer

On January 15th the SBC announced that they were hoping to expand membership and that the ‘football schools’ were looking to forming a new conference.
