Last night in Illinois…for Waukegan it was a celebrated Sectional semifinal game tournament win over Rockford Guilford…thanks to a very long 0.9 seconds. It all started with 2.2 seconds remaining in the game and in bound pass for Waukegan underneath their own basket was knocked out of bounds by the Vikings and the clock would show 0.9 seconds.

Guilford Coach Chris Dixon told the Rockford Register-star

“With 0.9 seconds, the guy caught the ball, spun around and shot a fadeaway jump shot. How do you do that in 0.9 seconds? I’ve got a million pictures on my phone sent from a million different angles.

The game was tied at 57 when the winning basket was made. The game was played on Waukegan’s court.

There is no video replay in Illinois.
