(3-22-25) Russia ended the ‘PERFECT’ Season 29-0 beating Cornerstone Christian (21-9) 74-57 to win the first ever D VII Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) boys basketball title.
Playing in their 3rd consecutive final four the Raiders finally get to celebrate the school’s 1st ever boys basketball state title.
The Raiders were led by Braylon Cordonnier with 22 points, Dominic Francis added 21 points and 8 rebounds and Vince Borchers had 14 points.
Cornerstone Christian was led by Ohio’s all-time career leading scorer Quinn ‘Turtle’ Kwasniak with 38 points on 13-23 FG, 6-11 3pt FG and 6-8 FTs.
Russia won the battle on the board 26-20.
