(3-25-25) Ottawa Hills Local Schools announced on Monday that it will be joining the Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC) beginning in 2026, pending board approval on Wednesday.

The Green Bears will remain in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) for the 2025-26 season before moving to the SBC for the 2026-27 season. Ottawa Hills was a founding member of the TAAC in 1988.
The SBC has Gibsonburg, Lakota, Margaretta, Northwood and Woodmore as 11-man football members. Danbury, Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic and Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic are also full-time members.
Cardinal Stritch, Emmanuel Christian, Maumee Valley, and Toledo Christian are the remaining full-time members of the TAAC.
