Pre-game hype> Undefeated Fishers was looking for a repeat Class 4A title; Jeff in its first state title game since 1993

(3-29-25) The defending state champion Fishers Tigers had not lost a game since January 27, 2024 when they lost to Carmel…entering tonight’s Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Class 4A state tile game they had won 43 consecutive games.

The Red Devils led by 7 points with 5:08 left in the 4th quarter…Fishers would comeback and led 60-58 with 1:03 remaining before Jeffersonville would tie it up with :58 seconds remaining. Neither team was able to score….and the game went to OT.

Jeffersonville would win the game on a final score by Elijah Cheeks with :37 seconds to go…the Tigers had one last opportunity to win it with 2.1 seconds to go….but a final 3pt FG would not fall.

Tre Singleton led the Red Devils on the night with 26 points, 12-20 FGs, 2-3 FTs and 5 rebounds.

Fishers out rebounded Jeffersonville 31-17.

With the win Jeffersonville ends the season 24-5 and Fishers ends the season at 30-1…including the ending of the 43 game winning streak.
