(4-23-25) Illinois State Senator Andrew Chesney and fellow Republicans are asking US Attorney General Pam Bondi to help with eliminating biological men from competing in Illinois High School women sports.

Chesney is pointing fingers directly at Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and the Illinois High School Association.

Senator Chesney over the past several weeks has shown his displeasure with the Governor and the IHSA.

From Senator Chesney’s Facebook Page.

Gov. JB Pritzker and the IHSA are allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports — a direct attack on fairness and everything Title IX stands for.

Letter sent to Washington DC-

Women have fought too hard to be sidelined by political agendas. Senate Republicans are calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi to take immediate action to protect our daughters and restore integrity to female athletics.

This isn’t equality — it’s injustice. And we won’t stay silent.

Congresswoman Mary Miller calls for federal investigations into Illinois over trans athletes in girls’ sports

To the Departments of Education

“I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a recent decision by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), which has chosen to blatantly disregard federal law and reject basic biological reality by allowing biological males to compete in girls’ athletic programs. This misguided policy not only undermines the integrity and fairness of girls’ sports, but it also jeopardizes the safety of young women across our state.

I respectfully urge the Department of Justice and the Department of Education to investigate the actions of IHSA and the State of Illinois and take appropriate measures to ensure that federal civil rights protections are upheld.”

In a Fox News story

“I’m calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi and Secretary Linda McMahon to launch an immediate investigation into the IHSA and the State of Illinois. Gov. J.B. Pritzker and radical Illinois Democrats must be held accountable for enforcing abusive, anti-science gender policies ahead of the safety of our daughters and the fairness of girls’ sports.”
