2025 All-Western Buckeye League Baseball Team Named, Wapakoneta’s Jolly Named POY

(5-25-25) The 2025 All-Western Buckeye League (WBL) Baseball Team was named today.

Wapakoneta’s Grant Jolly was named for the 2nd time in his career as the Player of the Year.

Defiance’s Rick Weaver was named the Coach of the Year for leading the Bulldogs to a league title.

Defiance, who won the league title place four players on the first team…Brezien Zipfel, Brady Borton, Noah Gomez and Cody Shaw.

This year’s 1st team features a veteran group of players with 8 Seniors and 2 Juniors.
