UPDATED: Thanks to vwindependent.com‘s Scott Truxell …who confirmed with Crestview coach….So week 2 Marion Local will play Crestview (Convoy), it is a 1-year deal. Crestview will then play another MAC powerhouse Minster the following two-years in a home and home deal.

Unanswered questions….who made the scheduling postings on the MaxPreps site? Human error, someone hacked into the account, etc.

Who entered the wrong Crestview on the Marion Local Athletics schedule?

Note: The Crestview that was listed (earlier) below is from Columbiana , since we posted this….it has since been changed to indicate that they are playing Crestview (Convoy).

Also the South Adams (Ind) game on week 1 was not in question. For those who questioned using MaxPreps for a schedule source, knowing the Starfires are to play the Flyers…it was assumed the Bradford information was also correct.

ORIGINAL POSTING-

(5-29-25) According to MaxPreps on both the Marion Local and Bradford schedules….week two (8-29-25) the Railroaders will travel to Maria Stein to play the Flyers. Last year Bradford went 1-9 on the season, their only win of the season was over Dixie 7-6 who did not win a game last year.

Marion Local will open the season against South Adams (Indiana) at home. The Starfires went 8-6 last season, including a long tournament run before losing to North Judson in the IHSAA 1A state-semifinal game 46-0.

Week 3 the Flyers will start their Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) schedule.

Marion Local opens the season with the nation’s longest consecutive winning streak with 64 in a row. Last year the Flyers broke the all-time Ohio record for the longest streak.
