Wapakoneta Shut Out In State D III Semifinal Game

(6-13-25) University School’s Aaron Moss gave up just three hits and one walk while striking out eight on 93 pitches in a 4-0 win over Wapakoneta to send the Preppers (26-6) to their first state championship game in program history.

It was Wapakoneta’s third all-time Final Four appearance. The Redskins G Jolly pitched a complete game giving up 4 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks.

The Preppers advance to Saturday’s state championship against Licking Valley at 1 pm. Licking Valley beat Hamilton Badin 2-1 in 9 innings.
