(6-13-25) Coldwater was knocked off today by Waynedale 2-1 in Canton at the 2025 D V State Baseball Semifinal game.

A 2-out, 2-run single from Waynedale’s Cameron Miller in the 5th inning gave Waynedale all the runs they needed for the win. Shane Cobletz throws a 2-hitter with 8 Ks for a complete game win.

This was Coldwater’s 22nd trip to a state final four .

Waynedale will play the winner of the Lynchburg-Clay vs. Graham game on Saturday, June 14, 4 p.m. at Canal Park.
