(6-18-25) The ACAC is a conference that has a unique scheduling of football games for member schools. Why? There are only 7 members in the ACAC, that causes one member school when conference play starts to play a non-conference opponent. This can create some interesting match-ups.

One game stands out this season…South Adams will cross the state border to start the season to Ohio to play a super-powerhouse…Marion Local. The Flyers presently have the longest consecutive winning streak in Ohio and the USA with 64 consecutive wins, that includes 4 consecutive state titles. Last season they traveled to Southern Indiana to open the season and they beat Linton 45-6, the Miners ended the year 12-3 and was the 1A State runner-ups losing to Adams Central 46-6 in the title game.

Independent Blackhawk Christian will play three ACAC opponents in 2025, Southern Wells, South Adams and Bluffton.

Bellmont and Eastside will both play two ACAC opponents.
