(6-21-25) Penn’s Ava Zachary has been named Indiana’s 2025 Miss Softball. The award was presented at the North-South All-Star Game on Saturday. Zachary, is a Notre Dame signee.
The left-handed hitting Zachary played third base and helped lead Penn to a 2023 state championship. She’s been a four-time First-Team All-Northern Indiana Conference selection.

Zachary led the state in RBIs this spring and had a .543 batting average, she also hit 8 home runs and was named a MaxPreps All-American. This is the first time a Kingsmen player has won the Miss Softball title.
