(7-18-25) Today the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) posted the 2025 high school football schedules for member schools.

Numerous games see Illinois schools playing out-of-state teams for various reasons.

IHSA members play 9 regular season games that helps determine who qualifies for the play-offs in the 8 divisions.

There are several schools who play multiple out-of-state opponents. One that catches your eye right away is East St. Louis.

Interesting, while numerous IHSA members play at least one game with neighboring Missouri schools….East St. Louis does not. Yet they play four out-of-state schools from three different faraway states…including New Jersey, Nevada and two Florida members.
