(7-28-25) An All-Ohio Basketball Player Nate Miles is on the move again. Although Ohio doesn’t have a ‘transfer portal‘ in place it hasn’t stopped Miles from creating his own.
His latest move is from Lima Senior (not during the school year), he competed with the Spartans this summer, to Millington, Tennessee to Tennessee Collegiate Preparatory Academy.
Miles started his career at Toledo Emmanuel Christian, prior to the start of his sophomore season last year he enrolled at Huntington (W. Va) Prep…but decided that it was not his ‘piece of cake‘ and came back to Emmanuel Christian.
In a Toledo Blade story Emmanuel Christian Principal Dave Regnier said-
“He said that prep school wasn’t for him. We had a conference call with the [Ohio High School Athletic Association] and they told him he would be eligible for the first half of the season. We will go through the appeal process and see if we can get any more, but I’m not sure how that will go.”

Miles, however, decided to return to Toledo early last month, began classes at Emmanuel on Nov. 11, and has rejoined the Warriors
