(8-17-25) The two sons of past Kenton football coach Mike Mauk…Ben and Maty…are now both head coaches in Missouri.

Ben Mauk is the head football coach for Monett High School in Monett, Missouri. He took over the program for the 2024 season after the team finished the 2023 season winless. In his first season (2024), Mauk led the Monett Cubs to three wins. The team is now entering his second season (2025) under his leadership, aiming to build on that success.
NOTE: Both Maty Mauk (his brother) and Mike Mauk (his dad) were assistants on his staff last season (2024).
Before coaching at Monett, Ben Mauk was an assistant football coach with his dad at Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri.
The Cubs open the season at home against Nevada and then host Strafford in a non-conference game.
