(8-22-25) St. Henry Athletic Director Dennis Wendel has turned In his resignation this week according to School Superintendent Adam Puthoff. Wendel, (August 21, 2025) at a Special BOE Meeting, was named named the new Treasurer of Franklin Monroe Schools.
Wendel has worked in the St. Henry district for 21 years and had been the Athletic Director for the past 13 years,
Wendel replaces Morgan Bridenbaugh who recently started a new position recently as Fiscal Consultant with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Bridenbaugh had been the Treasurer from June of 2021 until she left this past July.
St. Henry is looking at a transition plan to replace the AD position.
