(9-4-25) This year has seen numerous issues at high school football games….shootings, fights on and off the playing field. With all of this taking place more and more school administrators are setting up guidelines in hope of making games safe for fans and athletes.
The incidents are taking place around the country…almost every week-end this season has had a news making incident.
Below are some of the measures enacted this season —
Ohio
Medina High School implemented new football game safety rules starting September 5, 2025, requiring adult supervision for students K-12 and restricting roaming within the stadium, due to broader safety concerns at area schools. Large bags are prohibited, and fans are not allowed to stand on fences. Students 6-8 must be with an adult or in the student section, while students 9-12 must be with an adult or in their student section, and consequences for damaging property can include criminal charges or expulsion.
