COMPLETE RANKINGSJoe Eitel

(9-25-25) The 2025 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) football playoffs this year will feature 12 qualifiers from each region…four less then the last several years. The new format had its preview this week with the release of the first rankings and five games.

With the change in place each game for the rest of the season will have an impact on who will move on in the post-season…every compute point will be needed. With the change having taken place after scheduling was already in place for the regular season schools were not able to adjust to take into account on securing ‘extra‘ computer points.

Above is a Stateline area region (D VII Region 28) featuring four-time D VII State Champion Marion Local (who has won a national best of 69 consecutive games), along with other members of their league…the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC). In the top 12 this week two other MAC schools are included…St. Henry and New Bremen.

Two other MAC members in the region…Minster and Ft. Recovery are 13 and 14…just outside of the top 12.
