NEW CASTLE (12-16-25) – Eighteen women have been named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s
2026 women’s Silver Anniversary Team, based on outstanding accomplishments as basketball players throughout their careers in high school, college and, in some cases, professionally.
The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Directors announces the 2026 Women’s Silver Anniversary Team to be honored on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The Silver Anniversary Team recognizes players from the graduating class of 25 years earlier – in this case, honorees all are 2001 high school graduates. The 2026 Silver Anniversary Team includes 11 players who were named to the 2001 Indiana All-Star squad. Seven other All-State caliber players are included to recognize the top of Indiana’s high school class of 2001.
The 2001 Indiana All-Star players honored are Miss Basketball Shyra (Ely) Gash of Ben Davis as well as Ashley Allen of Ben Davis, Jacqueline Batteast of South Bend Washington, Jill (Corbett) Biddle of Indianapolis Cathedral, Kelly Cole (Springer) of Leo, Jenny (DeMuth) Hensley of Highland, Kate (Endress) Doerksen of Evansville Memorial, Rachel (King) Merz of Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, Hillary (Beck) Ngbea of Kokomo, Miranda (Eckerle) Rauch of Franklin County and Sara Riedeman of Greensburg.
Completing the list of 2026 Silver Anniversary Team honorees are Katie Boone of Center Grove, Amanda Davidson of Brownsburg, Ricaye Harris of Muncie Central, Maria A. Marchesano of Fort Wayne Elmhurst, Erin Moran Maurer of Indianapolis Roncalli, Amy (Wisser) Rohrer of Marion and Jessica (James) Shipp of Franklin Central.

NEW CASTLE – The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame recognizes three men for their
contribution as high school basketball officials as the 2026 Women’s Center Circle Officials
Award winners.
The late Bruce Mayfield Kirk Robinson, and Jay Slater will be honored for their contributions.
The 2026 women’s Silver Anniversary Team members, the 2026 women’s Center Circle Officials Award honorees and the 2026 women’s induction class will be honored at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s 24th Women’s Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
A mid-day reception, free and open to the public, will be held earlier on April 25 at the Hall of Fame Museum in New Castle. The evening banquet will take place at Primo Banquet Hall, 2615 National Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46227.
