Harlem’s Mateo Perera entered the season with 784 career points, good for #22 on the Harlem all-time scoring list. He has passed Heisler (No. 66 with 539 points) and Cook (No. 47 with 593 points) last season.
This year, Perera already had has passed Jury (No. 19 with 809 points). Tonight, he scored a career-high of 36 points in a 76-56. win over Dixon. He now has 981 career for his career …. which means that Andrews (No. 12 with 978 points) was able to watch Mateo pass him and Andrew Pearson (No. 11 with 980 points) on the scoring list.
Next up for Perera …. Eric Palm who is ranked 10th with 1,001 points. He has a legitimate opportunity to reach No. 1, which is 1,276 by Mike Floyd, who set that record way back in 1971.

Biography: Mike averaged 25 ppg at Harlem High School, scoring a school-record 1,277 career points. He had high games of 44 and 41 points during his Harlem career from 1967-71. Mike Floyd is the Huskies all-time leading scorer with 1,276 points between 1968 and 1971. He holds the record with 22 straight free throws made.
Mike went on to play at Texas A&M University, appearing in 76 games. He scored 790 points for a 10.4 ppg average and also handed out 220 assists. He was a senior starter on the Aggies’ 1975 NCAA Tournament team.
