(1-18-26) The Celina Bulldogs girls bowling team continues to win…adding a Sweet 16 Shootout for their 5th Tournament win of the season.

Ladies put on another strong performance led by Corinne Westgerdes with 2 game series of 412 (218, 194) 2nd All Tournament Team and Brynly Huber with a 2 game series of 379 (201, 179) 4th All Tournament Team. Mallory Fortman also jumped into the starting lineup today and provide key shots all day. None was bigger than the strike she rolled in frame 7 of the first baker game against Piqua to get us back on track.
The entire team made clutch shots down the stretch and battle through adversity all day. Very proud of our effort and growth today!
The Celina Boys bowling team picked up the runner-up trophy.

The Boys headed back to Poelking South lanes this weekend for the Sweet16 Shootout! Again this week the fellas seeded 1st .. Helped by All Tournament team honors from Austin Novitzke(453) and Jacob Gross(477) and Lucas Gray was named the Tournament Champion with his 509 two game series.
Earning a 1st round bye, we stayed warm while we waited for our Quarterfinal opponent. Piqua was that opponent before we moved on to face Elder in the Semi-finals.
Good baker games helped us move on to the Championship final round. In a three game Baker set vs Miamisburg, where total pinfall is the key, both teams were throwing well in what turned out to be a highly contested finish! But in the end we finish runner-ups again, and it was another great day on the lanes for the Bulldogs!
