(3-4-26) 73 year old record broken…Pine Ridge senior Marvin Richard III scored a South Dakota single-game record 73 points in Pine Ridge’s 108-30 win over Lakota Tech in the Region 7A tournament. It broke the previous record of 72 points set by Argonne’s Delbert Gillam in 1953. Richard III hit 29 field goals, finished 12-of-12 at the free-throw line and nailed three 3-pointers.
