His most recent role was at Gainesville High School (Georgia) as the Defensive Run Game Coordinator (and Linebackers coach) and represented the program in events like the Georgia Elite Classic and contributed to the team finishing as the 5A State Runner-Up with a 12-3 record, setting multiple defensive season records.
Prior to this, he was the head football coach at Chatham Central (NC) High School, finished with an overall record of 0-11.
High school coaching
Head coach at Calvert High School (Tiffin, Ohio) for two seasons. Head coach at Brookside High School for three seasons. Also coached at a North Carolina high school (Central, Bear Creek, NC). Previously a varsity assistant at Versailles High School (Ohio).

Worked as an assistant on the staff at Coldwater High School (Ohio), coaching running backs and linebackers. He was also the girls head basketball coach at Coldwater.
